My Opinion On The Marijuana Debate

Today during health we watched a video where people debate over the legalisation of Marijuana.                                                 Hearing both sides and seeing the two perspectives gave me a mix of thought, I do believe that either way, wether Marijuana becomes legal or stays illegal people will find a way to use it.           Saying that, you never know what happens. I think that if Marijuana becomes legal we would never know what the outcome could be, people could become addicted, young children might start using the drug and many more.                      The reason I say this is because I do agree that if Marijuana becomes legal the government would have more control over the drug and the use of it but they won’t always know what everyone’s up to, people might be using it in all sorts of different ways. 

My Initial Thoughts On The Marijuana Debates

This term we are investigating whether marijuana should be legalised or stay illegal in New Zealand. 

I currently haven’t finalised my opinion due to multiple reasons such as... the negative effects on people related to addiction or the wealthy ness.

My questions are “What are the positive effects of marijuana” and “What will be the after math of legalising marijuana”.

Rule 2:

My favourite rule is rule two, "The world wont care about your self-esteem, the world will expect you to accomplish something BEFORE you feel good about yourself."

This is my favourite rule because I agree with it, your expectations wont always match your reality and most times you have to be self-less and stop thinking about your feelings, you have to think about the outcome of situations rather than how you feel and what makes you feel this way.

Don't expect people to care about you and don't expect so be happy or successful unless you have achieved something. 

How Can Our Country Support The Muslim Community?

In my opinion I think that we should stop judging people based on what we hear, we should not believe everything that's been said on the news and start paying attention to how people actually are rather than whats been said about them.

In order for people to feel safe in our country we must stop racism and most importantly stop white supremacy, we can do this by being more involved in other communities and respecting other peoples beliefs, we must treat people equally and show them that we care.

We as a country need to put aside the stereotypes such of coloured people being terrorist and gang members, this needs to stop in order for our country to be the best it can be.

Interacting with others is also a great way to break this barrier, starting a conversation with people your not familiar with or being kind in general.
